Third Annual CowBelle Classic

CowBelle Classic is a women's specific, non competitive bicycle ride offering 4 different routes. Aid Stations and SAG support is provided with lunch following the ride. The Boone Area Cyclists Club is the sponsoring host for the event.

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 12-session educational program for family, significant others, and friends of people living with mental illness. It is a designated evidenced-based program. Research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to an individual living with a mental health condition. Tom Moore Memorial 5k Run/Walk

The Tom Moore Memorial 5k Run/Walk will be April 28, 2018, at Clawson-Burnley Park, Boone Greenway Trail. Early Registration is $20.00, while late registration is $25.00. All proceeds will go to Huntington's Disease.

Free Monthly Mindfulness Meditation @ Watauga County Public Library

Join us for an hour of mindfulness meditation. We will focus on daily practices to calm the mind and wash away the daily stresses, using breath awareness exercises and relaxation techniques combined with guided creative visualizations. These are skills that you can take with you and use on your own in your daily life.
