Clear And Chilly Tonight; Nice Saturday!
Pleasant temperatures on Saturday should have us outside, a fitting beginning to Spring tomorrow. (The equinox occurs at 1:32 PM Saturday.) While it may not be warm enough for everyone to break out the shorts, some will--so a White Legs Advisory will be in effect (not reaching Warning-level criteria this weekend) for unsightly exposure of long-covered-up skin. The only weather issue of note through Saturday will be chilly valley temperatures tonight. Skies become cloudy Sunday morning and rain develops Sunday afternoon. Expect a blustery rain Sunday night into Monday morning. Temperatures will fall Monday changing rain showers to snow showers Monday afternoon and Monday night especially at higher elevations and on the west side of the mountains (light accumulations expected above 4000').

Forecast Discussion
The next front stretches from Wisconsin to Colorado--a long way from here. We can enjoy one more beautiful day with high pressure centered in the Southeast and firmly in control of our weather. Get outside and enjoy! The only caveat is chilly nighttime temperatures in valleys because of good radiational cooling conditions.
The next front will move through late Sunday night or early Monday. The slower theme we introduced to the forecast yesterday for this front still holds. Expect scattered clouds Saturday night with skies becoming overcast Sunday morning. Rain will arrive Sunday afternoon and last into Monday.
An upper-level low will track across our area Monday evening behind the front. Colder air arrives Monday with rain showers changing to snow showers in the afternoon at higher elevations. Snow showers mixed with rain showers at lower elevations will continue into early Tuesday morning. Light accumulations are expected above 4000'. Monday will be blustery with falling temperatures.
Some peaks of sun are expected by late Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures will be below normal but somewhat milder by afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday will bring quickly moderating temperatures and pleasant weather.
